Question:  Do I have to come to you to train?
Answer:   No - We offer two other ways of training to you.  1. Via-Internet or 2. Home Study

- TRAINING OFFERED -

1.)    One-On-One Training with Instructor - We train at either of these locations - your choice. 

      Make sure to call us first to make sure the dates you are requesting are open.  Look at our calendar for dates available.

2.)     Via-Internet while using the Manual and on the Phone with Instructor. 

       We offer a "State-Of-The-Art Internet Training Program" so there is no need to travel - unless you feel more comfortable doing the training one-on-one.

       This saves on the gas, hotel fees and the time travel.

3.)     Home Study Course - This is for the independent self starters. 

This course is a self study course and is an overview of how to broker loads from start to finish.  When you have completed the course there is at test.  In order to receive you "Certificate of Completion" you must pass by 80% - due to we have to back you up that you understood how to broker a load properly from start to finish.  Those who wish to be an Agents we supply you a Broker List of Brokers looking for Agent.  You must pass the test in order to receive this list.  Those who wish to be a Broker we supply you the information on how to get your Brokers Authority.

Question:  How long does the training take?

Answer:   1.  The One-On-One Training with the Instructor only takes two days in person.  No other strangers will be allowed in the class with you.  You may invite someone to come with you.  You will receive a discount per extra person you invite.

 

Question:  Tell me what's the difference between being a "Broker" verses an "Agent" ?

Answer:    BROKER:  Is a company that assumes all general legal requirements to operate as a Broker.  They must take of the bond, authority, license and any insurance.  The Broker usually always take care of all the billing and collections.  AGENT:  Is hired as an independent contractor who works under the broker's authority and receives a percentage of the freight that he/she sets up to be loaded and delivered.

 

Question: How do the loads get moved?

Answer:   We educate you on how to Broker a load from start to finish.  How to use the load boards on the internet to your advantage.  Supplying you with information that makes this job even easier and more efficient.

 

Question:  Who are the key players in this business?

Answer:    Shippers, Receiver, Broker, Agent, Sales Reps. and the Carriers.

Question:  How do I find a broker?

Answer:    We are an established quality Freight Broker Agent Educational Program.  We have brokerage companies who are willing to give individuals - such as yourself a new start.  We educate you on what questions to ask the brokers and why you are asking them.   

 

Question:  How do brokers pay me and what is the split?

Answer:   Brokers pay between 50-60% on an average.  The Broker usually does all the billing and collections.  Most Brokers pay weekly or bi-weekly and a few pay monthly.

 

Question:   How do I find shippers?

Answer:   We will show you different ways to find shippers.  There are even a few Brokers that share loads with Agents.  But your main responsibility is to call on the Shippers and set up a new accounts with them.  You may or may not have to find the carrier company to haul the load for you - depending on the Broker you pick.  You have a great opportunity to make a great living if your a go getter!  This business is not an over-the-night-get-rich-scheme.  You have to work at it, but if your willing you won't regret it!

Question:  Does the training program have to paid up front and how much does it cost?

Answer:    For the One-On-One Training - To reserve your dates - you must put $250 down and balance is due the first day of training.  Cash or Government Money Order - No Personal or Business Checks.

 

1.  "In Person - Freight Broker Agent Training Course" - Fee:  $950  for 1-Person - for each extra person who comes with you and trains on the same days - add $400 per extra person - that's a $500 discount.  Each person receives their own - "Training Manual."

 

2.  "Internet - Freight Broker Agent Training Course" - Fee:  $750  for 1-Person - for each extra person who trains at the same time as you - add $250 per extra person.  Once we receive your payment in full we shipped out your Manual registered for you to sign for.  We will email you a tracking number once mailed.  Once you receive your Manual we will give you time to review it - then call to set your training sessions.  (Note: Training comes with only one manual  - extra manuals are available for $100.               

Question:  Where do I stay if I come to your train?

Answer    We train the following 2 locations:   Ramada Inn - Locust Grove, GA   The Locust Grove location is located on South of Atlanta off I-75. 
 

Question:  How do I get started?

Answer    First of all... you don't need to go into debt to get started.  You can work from home or rent a small office.  All you need are the following items to get started:  Telephone, Fax Machine, Fast Internet, Hanging Folders and File Folders and some form of filing cabinet. 

 

Question:  Can I reschedule and not lose my payment or deposit for training?

Answer:   Yes.  You must give at least a two weeks notice and you will not lose your payment or deposit and you will be able to book other dates for training. 

Question:  Once the payment is made - are there any refunds or credits?

Answer:    No.  Once the payment is made and the Manual is mailed out - our company does not refund or give a credit for the training program. This is due to the fact - that once the student has received the Manual - it contains all the instructions and the samples of our paperwork in order to be a broker or an agent. 

 

Question:  What are my payment options?

Answer:   Cash, Credit Card, Com Check, Government Money Order.
